This range of Expert Ease International products are action learning web-training packages, aimed at the worker, the supervisor/ manager and the director/ Board member. We are confident that these packages are the most affordable on the internet. If you find a comparable package at a more competitive price we will match the price.
The
programs follow an action learning model whereby learners are invited to carry
out activities which will both test their learning at each stage of the program
and provide them with useful material and documentation for their company’s
own safety procedures. Learners are
taken through the full program step by step and are supported by graphics and
images, additional materials and references, Internet links to relevant sites
that will support their study and legal / official sites (e.g. OSHA) for the
current statutory position on the subject.
While
the programs have been written to meet the general requirements of businesses,
Expert Ease International offer the facility to customise any program to the
specific requirements of individual companies, e.g. the Hazardous Substances
program was recently adapted to meet the needs of one UK company with over
11,000 employees and volunteers in 400 locations.
This means that the examples used in the program, images and photographs,
safety procedures and systems will be that of the company. The finished program will be published on the company’s own
internal intranet system with access controlled by the company.
Alternatively,
training programs can be developed in their entirety.
Expert Ease International will work with the company, their safety
officers and trainers, researching and developing materials explicitly for the
company. As appropriate, we will
carry out an analysis of training needs, matching worker competencies against
job requirements and prepare training and, where required, assessment programs
to meet the company’s technical and statutory needs.
All
of our programs have been developed in real work situations and tested in
classroom practice by the trainers and consultants in Expert Ease International.
Several have been further developed as interactive CD ROM packages and
are in use by companies throughout UK and Ireland, in North and South America
and in Asia.
In October 2000, the National Training Awards 2000 (UK) judged the Confined Spaces Licensing and Certification Program to be an “excellent piece of work... in line with emerging new regulatory requirements” and which was meeting the operational needs of our client.
