
Philip McAleenan,
MSSc FILM Assoc.CIPD Cert Law Member ASSE
A graduate of Queens University Belfast, Philip holds a Masters degree in social science and a
postgraduate certificate in law. He is a Fellow of the Institute of
Leadership & Management a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, an Affiliate of the Institution of Occupational Safety
and Health and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institution of Personnel and Development.
He has held senior management positions since 1982 and executive positions for the past 12
years. His experience of management and training includes personnel, strategic analysis,
business planning, project evaluation and appraisals, managing change, funding
negotiations and contract management.
Recent experience includes review, modification and associated training of staff on

International he is responsible for the development of the Company.
He has jointly developed Safety Management Manuals on Confined Space Entry, Asbestos
Recognition and Information Technology Auditing. Philip is co-developer
of the Operational Analysis and Control management model. He has designed and delivered Health and
Safety training in confined space law and safety management, and jointly designed safety
training programs for RPE training, risk assessment and permit to work review and
training.

Ciaran McAleenan
MPhil CEng MICE MCIWEM MIOSH RSP
A graduate of Queens University Belfast, Ciaran has a Masters degree
in civil engineering and is a trainer and safety practitioner. A professionally qualified
Engineer; he holds corporate membership of the Institution of Civil
Engineers, Chartered Institution of Water &
Environmental Management and the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
Ciaran is also a Professional Member of the American Society of
Safety Engineers.
Ciaran has designed and managed a number of civil engineering
projects within the water industry since 1978. Since 1990 he has been involved extensively
within the field of occupational safety and health, both in the training delivery and
development of policy and safe working procedures. His current work majors on the
provision of Boardroom level safety advice and on developing the links between production,
quality and health & safety.
Recent experience includes;
Design, development and publication of a Confined Spaces Health
and Safety Management System,
Development of
the 'Highways Environmental Management' model and co-development
of the Operational Analysis and Control management model, and
Management seminars
on a range of safety and environmental issues to a variety
of industries including Civil Engineering, Power Industry, Dock Authorities and Gas
suppliers
